The Phillips University Tradition Project

Donor support. Our key to successful programs.

The Tradition Project is the Legacy Foundation’s major fundraising effort. The Foundation’s programs are solely reliant on donor support – it’s your gift that keeps our successful programs growing year after year.

Let’s keep the spirit of PU alive!

You may honor and celebrate the spirit of PU’s past and perpetuate its future with a gift to the Tradition Project. Which effort is important to you?

Honor its past: through the Phillips University Gallery
Commit to a meaningful future: through the Legacy Scholars Program.

Started by passionate alumni
Passionate alumni members of the three Phillips Boards conceived the Tradition Project after the University closed. These groups were strongly motivated to find ways to perpetuate the PU legacy:

  • Phillips University
  • Phillips University Alumni & Friends Association
  • Phillips University Legacy Foundation

True to our ideals.

Nurturing dreams. Cultivating talent. Inspiring leadership.
It all takes place in our flagship Legacy Scholars scholarship program. We ignite PU’s intellectual and spiritual ideals in gifted young people and continue to shape lives.

Friends. Buddies. Sidekicks.
You can reConnect with all of them! We’re working hard to reunite the Phillips family through alumni events across the country. Does PU’s social ideal still run swiftly through your veins?

Paddles. Letter jackets. Photos galore.
You’ll find it all carefully preserved in the new PU Gallery in Enid. Come home, step back in time, and enjoy these valuable physical mementos of the days when you walked to Bivens Chapel, the Library, Clay Hall…when you made your body healthy through varsity or intramural athletic activities and participation in Science Camp activities…

All of these things are possible due to the
generous support of donors just like you!
